Organizational Goals:
Provide high quality physician coverage in rural and non-urban emergency rooms, primarily in northern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. Our providers are Board Certified primary care specialists with the clinical and personal skills to thrive in the rural ER setting.
Identify and secure quality Emergency Room contracts to provide excellent physician compensation and promote physician equity ownership. Low-hassle physician-to-physician scheduling allows our providers the flexibility to customize their work hours and sites on a monthly basis.
Assist our partner facilities in achieving their clinical and financial goals. We collaborate with the hospital's administrative and medical staffs to best meet the specific needs at each of our sites. To that end we provide in-house recruiting, credentialing support, quality assurance, and peer-review to assure that our standards are met.
Promote a non-discriminatory work environment for our office staff, associates, and related personnel. |
History
Wapiti Medical group provides locum tenens ER staffing in the Midwest. They staff small to midsize emergency rooms in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and South Dakota.
Wapiti Medical Group was formed in 1996 when the founders felt that national emergency staffing companies were being impersonal with physicians, overcharging hospitals and underpaying physicians.
We focus on meeting the needs of rural, low to medium volume hospitals and presently staff over 45 facilities in four states in the upper-Midwest. |
